#FIXIEREUNION2017: prickly syringe jam 2017

Prickly Syringe Jam AKA #fixiereunion2017 from BHSK_cogblog on Vimeo.
i had the weekend off and i had every intention to go down to monterey for the sea otter classic at laguna seca. but this came up and i made the executive decision (pretty much the night before) to ditch burning up and being caked in dirt in monterey, in order to head to 3rd and army in san francisco where it was overcast and ocean salty. i made the right decision. there were so meany heads out there that i havent seen in years and there was so much shit going on. now this is basically only the tip of the iceberg- i have a shit ton of photos i have to sift through tonight. anyway, shout out to mike and matt for making this happen and dudes like ramon and jball for putting up some prizes.

i'm fucking stoked how this came out by the way. holy hell....

BHSK @ redbull ride n style 2014 from BHSK_cogblog on Vimeo.
i'll have a more comprehensive post later. i've been having conversion nightmares with the clips, but i finally got that shit down in record time. this is a little bit of what i got from the redbull event last weekend. i had a hell of a time with the homies even though i was out there getting sunburnt and windburned. hope you like it.

DIP: AFC uproar 2013 from BHSK_cogblog on Vimeo.
i still have no idea how to fucking use this camera and how to edit with it, but here's whatever i got from the AFC: uproar 2013 comp. held in sunny west oakland, this event usually is a part of SF bike expo (which is happening on november 16th). lots of homies came out for this and threw down. stay til the end, yo.

#2blogs1brand1dudetour: still buzzed

#2blogs1brand1dudetour: still buzzed from BHSK_cogblog on Vimeo.

this was supposed to come out a lot earlier but due to some technical difficulties i had to redo it. twice. i decided to take my go pro to interbike and have random clips of whatever i was around. but then chrome kept giving out beer so i ended up with a bunch of crappy stuff. ibike was fun- ate wings every day, drank beer every day, but now i have it all out of my system and this edit was a nightmare to get out.

shouts to lockedcog for forcing me to turn up.
shouts to slurpcult for driving and keeping me frosty.
shouts to alex gonzalez AKA the stroke master AKA spongebob swag AKA the queen of drag.
shouts to showyousuck for flip phone.
shouts to blocboifame for disrespectful.
shouts to chrome for keeping my buzz.

BHSK goes places: iminusd 4 year anniversary

this past weekend i crawled out of bed, swooped my camera and heded out to cannery park to celebrate the 4th anniversary of iminusd and 5th anniversary of local clothing brand, breezy excusion. these two brands are omnipresent in san jose, and both support FGFS and the local community greatly. here's what came from my lens.  get more after the jump

parrrr-teh: shredwell two premiere at imd

(via imd)
the fam kenny arimoto sent this one over to me yesterday and i'm totally going to be there. the based god scheduled my work to end at 2:30.  at 3 pm, the grime dudes, the wheeltalk dudes, and the destroy fam are going to be ripping CCP a new one until the 7:00 premiere at iminusd. to say i'm excited is an understatement. gonna break in my gopro here too so bring your ugly ass faces!

AFC Uporar ams @ Sf Bike Expo 2012

i rolled into day one while the crew from 209 cogs snuck up behind me- it was the am comp that day and a bunch of them came down to participate. there were more people in the am comp than the pro comp which really gives me hope for FGFS and the up and coming riders in nothern california. see the rest of the photos after the jump!

SF Bike Expo 2012: people and other stuff.

this is probably the fastest turnaround for an event i've ever done.while sf bike expo celebrated their fifth year, this is my third year at sf bike expo- i've been finding that every year i've been getting more and more involved with the event. before i get to my main focus, here's a bunch of randoms of people, polo and other stuff.

coming soon: 5th annual SF bike expo for 2012

im not sure what the hell happened but this thing didn't make it up here. that surprised me because i'm a part of this whole event (i know, what the hell man). going down on november 10th and 11th at the cow palace, SF bike expo will be celebrating their 5th show. this is going to be my third year going to this event and it's funny since i'm finding myself getting more and more involved with it every time it comes around. yes, there will be an FGFS comp (am and pro, i'll be posting about this tomorrow) and yes i will be there. there will also be a bike polo tourney as well as some gnarly dirt jump action.

let us know if you're coming through on our facebook event page.

BHSK jumped into the iminusd gang: imd 3rd anniversary coverage

for those who didn't catch on to it, my coverage of the iminusd 3 year anniversary isn't on here. that's because i got jumped into the iminusd gang and i'm putting in work for them. so..... everything is on there. but i'll copy-paste it here for those who are lazy. get it after the jump!

the weekend activities: iMiNUSD's 3 year anniversary & Breezy Excursion's 4 year anniversary

(via iminusd)
this weekend is going to be hectic for me because our fam at iminusd is celebrating their 3rd anniversary. i went to this event last year (actually, i was a judge for the fixed comp), and it was HUGE. this event keeps growing especially since breezy excursion is doing a release. if FGFS isn't fast enough for your taste, then SJF is having an alleycat race. there's tons of other stuff like live music, food trucks, a bunch of vendors that i really cant fit on a single post so go to iminusd's blog for the FULL rundown.

BHSK goes places: 209cogs in San Jose

a little less than 2 weeks ago, i heard in the wind that the folks from 209 cogs were coming down to my neck of the woods. being that a couple of them are good buds of mine, i was really psyched. here's what went down...

BHSK goes places: SJFixed Redemption Critierium

last week's sunday, i found myself lying on my couch when i got a phone call from sean at destroy bikes. apparently there was a criterium put on by my local sjfixed crew and he along with kenny arimoto was going to root for their rider, josue. so i got my ass up, strapped on a camera and made my way to the shark tank to document it. see more after the jump!

BHSK goes places: EB86 of berkeley & oakland.

so a really long time ago, i was asked by my good homie nick koo and well.... everyone else in the berkley/oakland scene to come up to the east bay community and hang out. it took a good while for opportunity to come knocking, but i finally made my way out there a couple weeks ago. get some story and see all my photos after the jump!
