this is the next family project. it's a late model slingshot road bike (they dont make these anymore) my dad bought thinking he can keep up with me on the san jose hills. yesterday he called me up asking about singlespeed stuff blah blah blah. i personally didnt think he would do it. i think this is probably one of the wildest singlespeed conversions ever. the whole wire downtube still blows my mind (but i dont think its really great functionally- it gets squirrely). since the chainring is ginormous as well as the ss cog, it really makes it look like a crazy cartoonish bike. once i get my hands on it there'll the derraileur will be gone. =]
