i think i said this over a twitter rant or something, but we really owe huge chunk of FGFS' success to john prolly. he's pretty much the reason why it caught on- he introduced us to hold fast, splined chainrings, and ed wonka. on top of that, the guy makes rad stuff like this necronimicog shirt. black is a hardcore color to wear in the hot weather of texas where john is based, but fuck it- it's metal.
