"The new Scissor has more clearance for even bigger tyres and therefore a
mid bottom bracket so you can run BMX cranks which are wider than track
cranks. It also has a slighttly lower stand over height...The tyres I have on my old Scissor
are 38s which is plenty wide for me… I’ve moved on from the 23s I
used to ride when I started out as now I’m jumping stuff and that would
suck.. but I don’t want to go bigger than 38 as it makes my bike slower.
But some people like their tyres as big as they can get so I guess they
will like this feature on the new Scissor."
