42mm rims are today's norm. plenty of people are looking at their voelocity deep v's and weinmann dp 18's with DISGUST. that said, carnival of all that is good and amazing in tokyo released their verion of the 42mm rim. it's machined (and if youre like me, you believed the brake surface makes any rim looks signigicantly smaller), but the brake surface is pretty cool- on the black and silver versions the brake surface is blue and on the blue version, it's black. however, that;s not what interests me the most:
WHAT IS THIS!?!?! TWISTED BLADED SPOKES!?!?!? IS THAT SAFE? BECAUSE IF IT IS....IM DOING IT ON MY NEXT WHEEL BUILD..... fuckin sick.
