you know what? i'm not going to sugarcoat this or nothin'- i hate this bike. with every bone in my body, i desipise it so much. why? because it's design is SO TERRIBLE it makes my eyes bleed. cole and bijan are awesome riders and i have nothing bad to say about them (luh you guys). but these bikes are so terrible.
well, why don't you like them jmik? well i'll tell you.
right off the bat- this thing has 14mm axles. you're going "well yeah, a rear should be 14mm". i'll respond by saying "it's plural..." YES THIS THING HAS 14MM AXLES FRONT AND REAR. so if you wanted to swap out the front with a well built wheel, you pretty much cant because the fork takes a 14mm axle. wanna sell the front wheel? can't because NO ONE RUNS A 14MM AXLED WHEEL IN THE FRONT.
(the front setup, not the 14mm axle)
then there's the stupid seat tube that looks like it's too long and has a really terrible looking seat clamp. it's reversed too so it looks like
the rear triangle is way too long. with a 2.2 and the axle slammed, there's still a
the components are decent enough. i guess.
here's the last thing, and i'm going to tell you though anecdote. so some kid was selling one of these on a facebook forum claiming it was a 26" 14 bike co. i couldn't have that. i told him straight up what it was, and for a while he was seriously trying to fight my allegations. alas, i convinced him that he had been screwed. the worst part of this bike is the crap they're pulling off another company's look and setting the seatstays lower.
this whole bike sucks and it's competing against the pfix and the SE primetime. what a waste of decent 4130- it just comes to show that some people just want to see the world burn.

Seriously when is the last time anyone ran a 14mm front...?
14 bike co's 26" didn't have that protruding top tube, ted deliberately kept that as the trademark of the ESB (700c)
however we should still ahte these guys for copying 14's design and that kid for trying to flog one as a 14
i thinks its funny you can tell how "good" the bikes ride from that video. solid riding though for sure.
cole and bijan are really good riders.. but this bike is a piece.
like the end of the 90s....
this thing is shitty, just another company trying to cash in with some bad product.
I saw this turd @ Interbike and immediately sent a photo of the pierced TT to Ted in London :/
they're here at SF bike expo and i'm avoiding their booth at all costs.
This shit has to end!
refreshing to see speaking their mind in fgfs. good post Jereme
Who gives a fuck if u dont like the bike dont get it I got one its badass I modfied it thats all u gotta do unless u wanna suck dick like the bitch who likes to waste time and rant grow up faggit
Naw
I welcome you to ride this, then ride an American made 4130 frame and tell me my words are not true my friend. In fact, I can tell you that this bike is in fact the heaviest complete out of the major fgfs bikes on the market. There's also no denying that 14 mm front axles are dated, the geometry is awkwardly long and slack, and a play off of the late great esb's from ted james. Learn, young padawan, you must.
so i have this bike and you guys seem to know what you're talking about
would it be smart for me to cut down the seatpost so i can get more air, etc
does anyone have any suggestions for me (who has this bike) to make it better
Well... all pure fix cycles suck kinda thought that went without say there price also reflects it. But ya i hate on my volume thrasher all day but when u think some kids are riding thiscbike and think its the shit makes me feel like im ricky carmichal on a 450! But yeah its just a shitty economy fiix freestyle. But i will say the room in the back is soo u can run 7oo c wheels if u wanna go that route. I have both a 7ooc fgfs and a 26 inch fgfs like them both for certain things!
