right out of the box review: fyxation steely HT rise bar

(via fyxation)
recognize this bicycle? yes, that's my destroy loser. i've been looking for a non crossbar 22.2 riser for a while, and i kinda made it vocal that i was really interested in these ones. right when they hit stateside, the guys at fyxation sent one over. as soon as it landed on my doorstep, i wrestled the grips on and threw it on the bike:

these ones are considerably wider than my last setup by a good 3 or 4 inches; at 29 inches wide, riders will have no issue in terms of having a bar that's too much, some may even cut them down a bit. at a 3 inch rise, they're not the tallest bar, but they're plenty good at the height they're at. the upsweep and backsweep is at 2 and 9 degrees respectively which makes the bar have a pretty comfortable feel when youre not boosting off stuff. it's also really sturdy due to the heat treated (hence, the HT) 4130 chromoly construction.

you can bet i'm going to be putting these things through the wringer. you can now get yours over at your local fyxation dealer or at fyxation's webshop!
