oh, bother: BIKESNOBNYC IN SAN JOSE.

"BikeSnobNYC, a painfully
funny blogger, is cycling through the valley on a tour for his book,
"Bike Snob: Systematically & Mercilessly Realigning the World of
Cycling."

The once-anonymous blogger outed himself as 36-year-old
New Yorker Eben Weiss in The Wall Street Journal a few months back. He's
been commenting at bikesnobnyc.blogspot.com
since 2007 and has gained cycling fans as famous as Lance Armstrong.

BikeSnob
will spend part of his Silicon Valley visit talking to employees at
Google on Friday afternoon. Then it's off to a public book signing at
6:30 p.m. at the San Jose Barnes & Noble on Stevens Creek Boulevard,
an avenue not known for being bike-friendly.

that barnes and noble is.... not really in the best part of san jose. unfortunately, he'll be missing out on bikeparty, and the shortyfatz trick comp, and the phil wood open house. he would eat that shit up. oh well. i guess bike snob will miss what san jose is truly about... after all, he is...just a dude named eben weiss to me now.

*sigh*
