mel is one of those dudes who's on the come up. he wont the amateur comp at sf bike expo last year where he took home a destroy unicorn killer. he's super consistent with everything he does. it's a bummer that this got cut short due to "equipment issues", but hopefully we'll see more eitd by derek and mel soon.
