when you get an email like this, you cant not post this up:
"I can't even put into words to describe how excited I am for my next event, but I can try.... STOKED! This Feb 4th at Portland's first indoor MTB park, the Lumberyard, we will be throwing a Super Cross race called "Cross Up". Single speed cross bike will be provided so just show up, race, and win. 1st place men and women will win a Raleigh Roper! We made some alterations on the bikes to make them a little more conducive to riding this terrain. We threw riser bars on them, fat tires, and platform pedals so don't show up in your cycling shoes. If you have a blog PLEASE post this flier so we can get the word out and have this event go off.

oh my, why an i not in portland? i would love to do this. this sounds like really really dumb-great-stupid-awesome fun. someone take me to portland so i can go do this. please.
