Coast No Coast: Vancouver to Mexico

a long journey done on MKE bruisers nonetheless! that's helllaaa harrrrdd!

"On August 1st 2010 Topher Masluk and myself will be riding our fixed gear bikes from Vancouver to Mexico. We’re doing this trip unsupported, and fully loaded, meaning we carry with us everything we need. Our visions of the coast are beaches and sunshine, but since neither of us have been down the coast, we’re probably jumping into this one blind. We will be documenting our journey through this blog, so keep checking back to see our progress, or lack there of. We plan to span the trip over two months, giving us ample time to go riding and have fun in new places the whole way. I’ll have some maps up soon of our route and places we’ll be stopping. So if your on the way and want to go for a ride, or let us sleep on your couch, get in touch!"

sounds like an epic project and kind of reminds me of into the wild, but going south.... and with bikes. anyway- if you guys need a couch to bum on, a shower, a meal or some supplies in chico (i believe you have to go through chico), i can help you guys out- looking at google maps, that'll probably be the midway point anyway! i will definitely keep posted on this project. check out their site here.
