i only know one dude in town who will build a wheel that utilizes twisted spokes. however, he'll only twit it once. this build by handspun used the double twist method. these arent the easiest things to do. that said, i would like to repeat what jeff said: dont cheap out on machine built wheels. get them hand build. in the long run, you wont regret the extra dollar.
