a touch of class: stainless steel wingnuts & tapered washers by LDG

i love modern design withing classic ideology. if youve been paying attention to the livery design gruppe then you know that they feel the same way. a while back i saw a dual drive mercian with something similar on the axles.

"While an accessory this small may not look like much engineering is involved.  Our original prototyped wingnuts were CNC’d from AL 6061 (non heat treated) to test the failure point to properly torque the wingnuts.  Eventually we tested them to failure and decided it was appropriate to cast the final production wingnuts in Stainless Steel 17-4PH (Heat Treated) and CNC’d the Tapered Washer from Aluminum 6061-T6 (Heat Treated).  Our wingnuts are heat treated to achieve a Rockwell hardness of 38C (+/-4C)."

i think these would look good on an old cream painted /w red logo bob jackson....
