(non)safety is for suckers: project aura

not sure about having some led's stick out from my rim compromising strength. however, the design is pretty impressive and has appeal. with the light eminating from the rim, drivers can detect the trail of the bike and therefore see where it's going to be- and then act accordingly. at cruising speed the led's shine white, and when slowing down they glow red. you can catch more information on this project as well as see some stats and info here.
